1. Agreement
By booking our services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. This agreement is between The Seasoned Skillet (“we,” “our,” “us”) and you (“client”).
2. Booking & Payment

A non-refundable retainer is required to secure your event date.

The remaining balance is due 14 days before your event unless otherwise agreed in writing.
-
Payments may be made via cash, check, or approved electronic transfer.
-
Your event date is not confirmed until the retainer has been received and a signed service agreement is in place.
3. Cancellations & Changes
-
Cancellations within 30 days of your event are non-refundable.
-
Cancellations more than 30 days prior will be refunded, less the retainer and any costs already incurred.

All menu, guest count, or service changes must be made at least 21 days before your event and approved in writing.

We reserve the right to cancel in cases of emergency or force majeure. In such cases, you may receive a partial or full refund at our discretion, based on expenses already incurred.
4. Menu & Pricing

Menu selections must be finalized at booking.

Prices are subject to change due to market fluctuations. If costs increase, we will notify you and give you the option to approve the changes or adjust your order.

We reserve the right to substitute ingredients of equal or greater quality if certain items are unavailable.
5. Client Responsibilities
-
Provide accurate delivery/setup details, including venue access instructions.

Ensure adequate workspace, utilities, and venue permissions for service.

Notify us in writing of any dietary restrictions or allergies at booking.

Assign a point of contact on the day of the event for coordination.
6. Allergy & Dietary Disclaimer
While we make every effort to accommodate dietary needs, we cannot guarantee that any menu item is completely allergen-free. Guests with severe allergies should exercise caution.
7. Service & Setup

We will provide professional service, presentation, and cleanup of our work area unless otherwise agreed.

Once food is delivered or set up, we are not responsible for quality or safety issues caused by improper storage, handling, or delays outside our control.

Additional labor, overtime, or equipment use beyond the agreed terms may result in extra charges.
8. Cleanup & Damages

Unless stated otherwise in writing, cleanup beyond our service area is the client’s responsibility.

The client is responsible for any loss or damage to our equipment caused during the event.
9. Photography & Media Rights
We reserve the right to photograph and/or record our work at your event for marketing and portfolio purposes unless you request otherwise in writing before the event date.
10. Limitation of Liability

Our liability is limited to the value of the service provided for the specific event.

We are not liable for damages or losses resulting from:

Acts of God
-
Pandemics or public health emergencies
-
Utility failures
-
Venue restrictions
-
Transportation delays
-
Supplier shortages
-
Other circumstances beyond our control

11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Seasoned Skillet, its employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from or related to your event.

12. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Florida.
